International. A large-scale digital signage facility, including 22 high-definition video walls based on the YCD platform, was installed by the WestMed Medical Group in its New York offices.
Essentialcom was the company in charge of installing the entire system, in spaces such as offices, corridors, waiting rooms and at the entrance of each of the floors. The installed video walls are made up of 70 thin Samsung LED screens, which used the latest HDMI digital key extenders.
The YCD Messenger C-nario platform, used in this installation, is a display software for digital signage, which distributes and manages the content and offers playback quality solutions in any shape, size and resolution.
"Video walls have enhanced the patient experience, creating a quiet and welcoming environment in the waiting rooms and hallways throughout the facility," said Simeon Schwartz, president and CEO of WestMed Medical Group, which offers a variety of medical services, including primary and specialty care, radiology, medical laboratory and urgent care.
On the contents, the company indicated that educational programs, seminars and conferences on new health initiatives will be broadcast, as well as video clips of environment with nature and landscapes and information about WestMed's programs and services .
