International. By the beginning of 2013, the Spanish company Arthur Holm two new products dedicated to conference rooms and boardrooms, Book monitors and AH Net software that allows users to simultaneously control up to 900 monitors without programming.
According to the manufacturer, the new monitors have been designed to be used on existing tables in meeting rooms, conference rooms, auditoriums and public information desks.
The Book, designed in solid aluminum with anti-glare protection glass, can be folded down manually by adjusting the desired angle and can remain flat on the surface of the table, with an excellent viewing angle; its installation is easy, and does not require any modification in the structure of the table.
The monitors have a passive ventilation system and are supplied with professional panels. DVI and VGA inputs are standard, and HDCP-compatible DVI is also available.
This solution is complemented by AH Net software that facilitates the control, administration, installation and maintenance of equipment. It allows the reception of feedback from each equipment, so that maintenance personnel can access the monitors locally or remotely, and obtain information on the operating status of up to 900 screens.
It operates via RS-422 or RS-485; The ERT interface connects the monitors directly through a PC or through a local network, tablet or Ipad, or any standard control system on the market and facilitates the optimization of installation costs of the monitors, because it eliminates the need to use additional relays or distribution boxes.
