The ETX family offers three two-way models (10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch, all with a precise titanium compression driver for high frequencies), a three-way model (15 inches, 6.5 inches for media and a precise titanium compression driver for high frequencies) complemented by two subwoofers (15 inches and 18 inches).
Positioned above the ZLX and Live X families, ETX completes a trio of the latest EV portable speaker offerings each designed to deliver best-in-class performance relative to its price level.
Inside each low-profile, tour-quality wooden cabinet is a range of new features that combine smart technology and innovative industrial design, to achieve results in all applications. High-efficiency transducers with EV engineering, high-power Class-D amplifiers, waveguide design with Synchronized Signal Transducer (SST) technology, and intelligent DSP processing with "FIR" filters, contribute to providing unparalleled EV sound quality and accurate coverage at the highest sound pressure levels (SPL).
Electro-Voice's DSP "FIR" process uses the latest finite impulse response (FIR) filter technology to optimize transducer linearity. Likewise, it offers advanced limitation algorithms to protect transducers against excessive peaks and temperatures, independently. Full control of DSP functions through a one-button interface.
LCD display for easy setup and monitoring: EQ presets for location/application, limiter status, meters and input level control, plus master volume control to ensure optimal gain structure. The Subwoofers have a preset to operate in cardioid mode.
EV's patented Synchronized Signal Transducer (SST) waveguide design provides accurate and consistent coverage across all system configurations. Waveguides are custom designed and optimized for each ETX model.
