International. NEC announced the launch of the PX602UL and PX602WL projectors, which feature Laser Light Source. This blue light laser source allows to provide a high quality image, eliminates the need to change the lamp and saves energy, advantages that simplify management. The new projectors are designed for large meeting and conference rooms, as well as for theatres, leisure spaces, museums and signage.
The high image quality they offer is due to NEC's NV1301 Scaler Chip and the bandwidth to process 4K images. In addition, they allow to show a very sharp photograph and accepts the portrait mode. The signaling capabilities in "daisy chain" (HDMI output), edge blending and the "mosaic" function, without the need for any additional device, allows to give the best integrated service. Laser Light Source technology offers a constant flow of light and a service life of up to 20,000 hours, making a lower total cost of ownership possible. This combination of technology comes together to provide maximum performance tuning to a wide range of industries.
"The laser is the future of projector light sources. With the increasing change in the visual market, image quality is no longer limited to digital cinema and the luxury user. These two launches join our portfolio of professional projectors, which already provide a wide color gamut," commented Gerd Kaiser, Product Line Manager Large Venue Projectors at NEC Display Solutions.
Thanks to its improved installation and geometric control function, the projectors can be freely oriented at any angle, allowing their use almost without any limits. These products offer the option of multi-screen imaging with multiple PiP/PoP functions that increase productivity in numerous sectors such as rental/staging, education, museums and corporate. In addition, the 4K signal interface with mosaic function and support so that OPS modules can be added provides a wide range of installation options, which also allows it to be adapted to any professional field.
These products comply with NEC's Green Vision offering an energy-saving mode, low maintenance and have a lower energy consumption than a 530W lamp, advantages that result in a lower total cost of ownership.
