Latin America. Shure introduced Motiv digital products, a new line of portable microphones for automatic connection and recording that are ideal for people looking to capture high-quality audio for vocal and acoustic recordings, podcasts, YouTube videos, field recordings and more.
Motiv products are easy to use and include four new MFi certified devices (made for iPhone, iPod, iPad) from Apple, including three condenser microphones and a sleek digital audio interface that can connect directly to any device with iOS operating system without the need for additional adapters or connection kits.
The Motiv line features the MV5 digital condenser microphone, the MV88 iOS digital stereo condenser microphone, the MV51 large diaphragm digital condenser microphone, the MVi digital audio interface, and the company's newest iOS operating system app, ShurePlus Motiv mobile recording app.
All of Shure's Motiv microphones, as well as the digital interface, come with varied DSP modes to ensure excellent sound. The DSP modes that users can select from (speech, singing, flat, acoustic instrument, and high volume) are designed to help entry-level users looking for better audio quality. When using DSP modes to specify what is being recorded, the selected models automatically adjust audio processing by setting gain, equalization, and compression to get the best recordings, every time.
The MOTIV product line will be available in the summer of 2015.
