Latin America. Panasonic presented various solutions aimed at restaurants and supermarkets. This includes solutions for fast food restaurant service such as "noise cancellation microphones" (prototype) for noisy environments and "Voice/automatic recognition for input" (prototype) that lead to the most efficient order operation and customer satisfaction.
As well as solutions for supermarkets such as the "Electronic Shelf Labels" (prototype), which intelligently display product information and solutions for restaurants such as the "Smart Spotlight" (prototype) that detects people, follows them, and displays the desired information using a projector and the "Smart Downlight" (prototype), which recognizes objects such as champagne glasses on the table to show the relevant signage.
It also presented signage solutions with state-of-the-art display technologies. These solutions include shopping malls such as the "windows as transparent screen" (prototype), which allows images to be projected and information on transparent surfaces such as store windows.
And solutions for hotels such as the "4K Touch screen for signage" (prototype), a high-resolution 4K touch panel that allows users to easily operate numerous videos and information using cloud servers.
In addition, there is the "museum signage" brought to life by using an ID light solution (prototype) for high-speed visible light communication, which allows users to retrieve information from LED lighting and signage panels with their smartphones.
Panasonic has taken a step beyond 4K to introduce its first 55-inch 8K (7680 x 4320 dots) LCD display (prototype). It has superior capabilities such as a "high contrast (1500:1)," "wide viewing angle (178 degrees)" and a "high frame rate (120 Hz)".
