International. A new video mixer switcher for live production introduced Roland through its Professional AV division. The new V-1200HD features a new "hybrid" engine that combines a 4:2:2/2 M/E switcher with a 4:4:4/10-bit switcher, a multi-form factor presentation processor.
M/E modes are selectable and a configurable structure allows for up to six layers of composition video and two independent auxiliary video outputs ideal for broadcast applications.
The multi-form factor processor allows 4:4:4 / 10-bit RGB processing best suited for full-scale computer formats that allows content to be split across two screens. As a 4K switching, it simulates a switching matrix by combining four inputs or SDI output to achieve a single 4K source.
The installation of the XI-SDI expansion card allows 4K routing of up to three inputs and two outputs. The V-1200HD's revolutionary "hybrid engine" makes it ideal for many markets, including broadcasting, broadcasting, corporate events, worship, education, and rental for production.
