Latin America. The announcement of the launch of the Christie Captiva Series confirms the brand's willingness to expand its catalog of 1DLP laser phosphor projectors. The new projector, the only solid-state projector with more than 3000 lumens, ultra-short 0.25:1 shooting lens and the option to choose between HD or UltraWide resolution, ensures exceptional brightness and high brightness in tight spaces.
It is also a very quiet projector, which works at full capacity up to 20,000 hours and without a lamp and that in a matter of seconds reaches its full brightness potential or is put on standby, instantly, without going through the cooling period. Highly reliable, the 1DLP motor allows the projector to be used in heavy-duty applications, including 24/7 mode, without interrupting its operation at any time.
Curtis Lingard, Product Manager for the Captiva Series, pointed out that customers like the series above all for the versatility with which it adapts to their needs when choosing between HD or UltraWide resolution, which allows you to project in a normal format for standard content or opt for a more creative and innovative type of projection.
Available with a 0.25:1 ultra-short throw lens, the Christie Captiva Series can be mounted just inches from a screen or wall, in portrait or landscape mode, without the presence of shadows obstructing the image. The high-definition Captiva DHD400S offers a native 16:9 aspect ratio that fits perfectly with the most common signals today.
The two projectors, the Captiva DHD400S and the Captiva DUW350S, are well suited in fixed installations where quiet operation is essential, such as classrooms, business or public administration offices, shops and museums.
