Colombia. During the last version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia, the company Codiscos exhibited the new DiGiCo S21 console, among other products. Sebastián Ochoa Echavarría, manager of the company, spoke with AVI LATINOAMÉRICA about this product.
He commented that the DiGiCo S21, despite being an economic model within the brand, is equipped with a digital processor from DiGiCo Stealth that uses an FPGA technology, from the English Field Programmable Gate Array. These are reprogrammable silicon chips, which gives higher performance by using the hardware in parallel in the execution of various tasks and not sequentially as previous technologies run.
The rotary encoders with RGB switch that include HTL (lighting), the polycarbonate coatings and the two touch screens are perhaps its most outstanding features. Some virtues of these consoles are:
