Bruno Bucchianeri and his career towards CTS certification

Latin America. Bruno Bucchianeri began working in the audiovisual industry at the age of 22 as a Technician in Installations of Rear Projection Systems, Video Wall and Led Screens. With more experience and training of the manufacturers, he achieved his certification as a Specialist Technician in these solutions for Latin America.

In 2012 he began his career as a Project Manager, adding areas such as CCTV and Access Control, Audio, Video, Collaboration and IT. In 2015 I set it as a goal to obtain the CTS certification. And since June 2018, Bruno acts as Project Designer, and is responsible for the Pre-Sale area of the company Seal Telecom.

Meet Bruno Bucchianeri and his career towards CTS certification.

AVIXA: What do you love most about the audiovisual industry?
Since I was a kid I like everything that has to do with technology and it was always a desire to work on something related.

In my positions as Project Manager and now as Project Designer, it gives me great satisfaction to see in operation a solution designed or integrated by oneself, which helps to transmit knowledge or entertainment to users, such as in a digital classroom or an auditorium. The best thing about working in the AV industry, is that it is very changing and constantly updated, there are no projects like it.

That breaks all the monotony of a conventional job, you can be working on the sound of a football stadium and the next day in a video conference room for the board of a multinational company.

AVIXA: How long have you been a member of AVIXA? And how has your experience been?
Since 2014 I am a member of AVIXA and in 2015 I achieved the CTS certification. Being a member of AVIXA is a great experience, mainly because it helps connect industry integrators with factories and even with customers.

Also AVIXA with its webinars, online courses and preparation for the CTS exam, helps to have a solid base in quality standards and project management at an international level, so I recommend all people, companies and customers in the industry to be part of AVIXA.

AVIXA: In what ways has having the CTS certification changed your professional career?
Obtaining the CTS certification demonstrates the commitment of the professional, validates the knowledge acquired in the years of work and gives you the recognition of other professionals in the AV industry.

This recognition opens the doors for you internationally. Factories and customers recognize the commitment of the CTS professional and treat it in a differential way.

Personally, being CTS opened the doors for me to work in a multinational of great recognition such as Seal Telecom Argentina, which has consideration and preferences for certified professionals. This is my first change of company being CTS, having this certification greatly accelerated the selection process, because it demonstrates my commitment and knowledge of the industry. This change meant an approximate increase of 40% in salary.

AVIXA: In which or which projects have you participated and managed to improve the customer experience in the AV world?
I am fortunate to have worked with important clients globally, one of them is Facebook, which is a company that requires you to always be at the forefront with the technology offered. These types of customers not only lead you to improve your experience with your AV equipment every day, but also the solutions achieved later become trends and standards in the industry.
