Subwoofer

Genelec

Genelec introduces the SAM 7380 subwoofer, which provides an extended low-frequency response with minimal distortion and maximum sound pressure level in a truly compact cabinet.

The new flagship of the SAM subwoofer line can be easily integrated into any monitor system (stereo or multichannel), as well as be part of large-format 3D immersive sound installations, easily providing a performance normally associated with much larger venues.

Equipped with a new Class-D amplification section in addition to all the benefits of SAM technology, the 7380 has been designed to exceed the requirements of the most demanding professionals in music production, post-production, film and TV. In addition, the 7380 is perfectly associated with "The Ones", Genelec's series of 3-way coaxial monitors, especially in the configuration of immersive systems for those working with Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D or DTS:X formats.

At just 685 mm tall, 718 mm wide and 492 mm deep, the 7380 houses an 800W Class-D amplifier that moves a custom 15-inch woofer that, together with Genelec's acclaimed LSE spiral enclosure, produces an impressive maximum level of 119 dB of sound pressure (123 dB peak), in addition to a precise response in low frequency that reaches up to 16 Hz.
