International. Michael Bornak has been the new chief financial officer of video and multi-screen software company SeaChangesince January. He comes from Tollgrade Communications where he held the same position since 2009 managing to make it profitable again after two years of losses.
He has also been linked as CFO in several companies in different industries, including solar energy, MHF Logistics Solutions, Portec Rail Products, and was a certified public accountant at Ernst & Young.
Raghu Rau, SeaChange's chief executive officer, said the new executive "is particularly suited to help us achieve our committed shareholder goals, driving operational efficiency and delivering better financial results."
Michael Bornak's resume highlights work in public companies and leadership in mergers, acquisitions and management. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and has maintained his status as a chartered accountant.
Now at SeaChange, he will be the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary and Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration. In addition, he is a member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement, and recently received the National Bronze Leadership Award.
