Latin America. The highly versatile Módulo Player equipment from the French engineering company, Modulo Pi is a complete server solution for the most complex and demanding video applications, with an easy-to-use workflow.
This synchronous and reliable multi-video network tool is aimed at a wide variety of events, from shows, museums, architecture, mapping, art galleries, exhibitions, theaters, concert tours and corporate events to permanent installations.
The powerful Player Module software is controlled through the Module Player Remote application and with its intuitive interface allows easy access to a multitude of very advanced functions to optimize the realization of any video project. The system's easy-to-use Remote application allows multimedia distribution from a single interface to all Module servers connected to the same network.
The system supports various codecs, such as MPEG2, H.264, HAP up to 4K. As an alternative to compressed files, you can also play uncompressed TGA streams and 3D Stereo movies at 120 fps. In addition, it supports multi-channel audio playback (ASIO) embedded with video or uncompressed audio.
The system goes even further. In combination with specific HDMI and HD-SDI I/O cards, Modulo Player enables low-latency live capture of any event, while in the output processing phase, an advanced edge distortion and blending engine allows access to powerful and easy-to-use tools so that outputs can be calibrated independently.
In this new era of 3D mapping, Modulo Player can also easily and accurately manage very demanding image projections on complex surfaces in a direct and elegant way, due to the company's exclusive X-MAP function that allows multilayer PSD files to be imported directly as a template.
With the Tasks feature, you can automate actions in a show and handle events both manually (using buttons) and sequentially by integrating your actions into Tracks in the playlist. You can also use multiple devices or Midi keys to trigger actions. View tasks or design your custom task buttons using the Remote Application User Interface Designer. Launch them from a tablet or iPad, using the Modulo Panel app.
Finally, Player Module can control or be activated by various third-party devices and platforms, such as projectors, matrix switches, GPIO, DMX Art-Net, MIDI, OSC, LTC/MTC Timecode, Ethernet TCP/IP, Serial etc. that can be added directly to Player Module.
