Colombia. During an event organized in conjunction with the Agora Convention Center in Bogotá, last Thursday, September 26, the company RLA presented its new image and all its offer of audio, video, lighting services, among others, for events.
The company of Chilean origin that today has a presence in 5 countries, received at the beginning of the year the injection of capital from an investment group, in order to continue supporting its international expansion. One of the changes that has just materialized is the new name, it goes from RLA SAV to RLA Event Technologies.
Hernán Godoy, director of international operations of RLA, explained to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that in Colombia, where the company has been for five years, it has positioned itself with a presence in Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena. In the last year and a half it has been installed in three important event spaces, the Agora Convention Center and the Grand Hyatt and Hilton hotels, to reach 10 hotels and convention centers with in-house service throughout the country.
At the event held in Bogotá, the company made an impressive display of technology, which allowed the more than 300 attendees, mostly event organizers, to know the possibilities that AV technology offers to hold an event.
One of the solutions that the attendees found on the fifth floor of the Agora, was a mapping projection of 18 meters by 6.3 meters on one of the walls of the auditorium, for which 2 Barco projectors of 20 thousand lumens were used. The mapping was controlled with an Analog Way system.
They were also able to enjoy a mobile cyclorama made up of 5 Epson 4200 lumen protectors managed by the Whatchout system for 360 images, in order to achieve an immersive experience.
The presentation included a mapping totem with 4 Christie projectors of 30 thousand lumens, assembly that included an ostia structure on top and an LED floor.
There was also a stage with an LED screen and two projection screens, as well as line array systems, Shure microphone, Digico consoles, and a large lighting system.
In the room were touch screens of 50 and 80 inches, conference systems, cabins of tradition by infrared, a Bosh camera for conference tracking, transparent LED screens of 198 pixels, a 4K crane camera, whatchout system all in network, vertical screens with three independent signals of 80 inches.
Finally, Hernán Godoy pointed out that "Today we are consolidating a work of 5 years ago, with a task that began since the convention center was an idea, with long-term relationships, believing in the industry. Colombia is doing a great job of promoting events and companies are coming, not only to Bogota, but also in cities like Cartagena. It's a market that's on the rise."
