Colombia. More than 500 people sang, danced and vibrated to the rhythm of the Bogota rock band Aterciopelados in the first accessible concert for people with visual, hearing and cognitive disabilities in Bogotá, as part of the actions of the ICT Ministry to promote social inclusion through technologies.
This event, which was free, is part of the Cinema for All initiative of the ICT Ministry, a commitment to innovation and the closing of digital gaps for this population from all cultural scenarios
All people with disabilities had the technological tools to access and enjoy through Colombian sign language, audio description and special subtitling, music as a universal language.
Cine Para Todos is a space for entertainment and inclusive culture that since 2013 allows people with disabilities to enjoy the seventh art for free by incorporating accessible elements to the films offered in various functions throughout the country.
In addition, it promotes capacity-building processes for people with disabilities to go from being spectators to active creators of audiovisual content.
