Chauvet Professional presented Maverick Force equipment

chauvet professional, Latin America. Chauvet Professional has changed the idea that "size matters" with the new Maverick Force 2 Profile and Maverick Force 1 Spot. This new family of high-performance LED moving heads, developed after extensive research and development and with the participation of leading designers, includes equipment to meet the needs of an arena but with lightweight frames.

"We developed the new Maverick Force series to address the demand for compact yet powerful equipment that our touring and broadcast customers have been asking for," said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet. "Smaller, more user-friendly frame equipment is especially suited for today's social distancing environment, where limited configuration teams are expected to perform the jobs previously done by more people."

Not only are the units designed to be lightweight and compact, their output also has the strength of advanced, energy-packed LED motors. Weighing less than 60 pounds (27.2 kg), the Maverick Force 2 Profile is powered by a 580-watt LED motor that produces an intensely bright output of 21,000 lumens. Tipping the scales even less than its stable companion, the less than 50-pound (22.7 kg) Maverick Force 1 Spot features a 470-watt LED motor capable of emitting 20,000 lumens of brightness. Both high-performance devices produce a variety of shades from bright reds to soft pastels with CMY+ CTO color mixing and an additional color wheel with CTB and CRI filters for design flexibility.

Lightweight equipment doesn't just make load times faster and more efficient for rental homes. They also translate directly into faster movements and faster effects for designers and programmers. Maverick Force 2 Profile features a four-sheet fast framing shutter system with 120-degree rotation for precise control, 7ْ to 55ْ zoom to cover a wide range of areas, and 16-bit dimming for smoother fades. Its five-faceted prism with frost, motorized iris, two rotating wheels of gobos for greater versatility. Maverick Force 1 Spot's effects wheel has a static, rotating gobo wheel in place.

The discreet operation of these devices also makes them suitable for installations where silence is of paramount importance. Both devices feature pulse width modulation and various TV fan modes, making them ideal for stream lighting. A variety of advanced control options are offered with DMX, WDMX, sACN, ArtNet, preset synchronization, and RDM capability for remote access.

"In developing our Maverick Force luminaires, we set out to strike the optimal balance between lightweight design and high-performance features," chauvet said. "As much as lighting professionals are looking for smaller charging devices, we didn't want them to have to sacrifice quality for compactness."
