Latin America. Vivotek presented its new Network Audio Solutions. Now available, the system includes the AU-001 network speaker and the AU-002 network audio driver.
"Several of our cameras are the most optimal for setting up specific video analytics detection events and synchronizing Vivotek audio devices," explained David Liu, president of Vivotek USA, Inc. "As such, our new network audio solutions have been integrated with our VAST 2 VMS software on these systems. This can be applied in various situations to improve security at facilities, properties and restricted areas with event-triggered ads, providing an intelligent surveillance solution while reducing management costs."
The AU-001 indoor/outdoor network speaker speaker provides a 106 dB long-range voice alarm. It supports VAST 2 and allows users to upload their own audio clips to VAST 2 for streaming. With an all-metal housing and an IP66 rating that is dust- and water-tight, the AU-001 can be placed anywhere, enabling a flexible, scalable and cost-effective approach to system design. It's easy to install, can be configured remotely, and can be turned on with built-in PoE (Power over Ethernet).
The AU-002 network speaker driver solution turns a traditional analog speaker into a network speaker. It supports SIP and UDP transmission protocols, has a built-in 20W power amplifier to control the speakers directly, is powered from the IP network cable via PoE+ IEEE 802.3at, and has remote configuration and firmware update via HTTPS.
