Chauvet continues IP65 expansion with COLORado PXL bar

chauvet

Latin America. ChauveT Professional's new IP65-rated COLORado PXL 16 bar and CHAUVET Professional's COLORado PXL 8 bar demonstrate that they convincingly offer a wide range of performance features, such as uninterrupted pixel pitch between equipment and fast, smooth motorized inclines of up to 200ْ, whether used indoors or outdoors.

"We developed this equipment in response to customers who wanted an IP65-rated motorized bar that could be used outdoors at remote broadcast sites, festivals and theaters, as well as indoor applications," said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet. "This versatility translates into faster ROI for our customers."

Regardless of where it's used, the COLORado PXL Bar16 is packed with features that will greatly expand the creative possibilities for lighting designers, such as its motorized tilt range options of 60ْ, 180ْ and 200 ْ.

Other examples are the zoom range of 5.8 ْ to 48.8 ْ of its 16 RGBW LEDs of 45 watts and its two control zones for pulsating effects.

The COLORado PXL Bar 8 also maintains pixel pitch between computers and has the same zoom range as its larger sibling. However, it has fewer pixels and only one control area due to its smaller size. Both luminaires also have an impressive colour temperature of 8.875K (at maximum).

To add even more versatility to these fully pixel-mapped devices are their built-in effects, including virtual gobo and motion macros with separate background and foreground color control. Slotted Omega brackets make it quick and easy to hang on the truss. They can also be placed on the ground to provide a variety of different light angles.

The latest in the CHAUVET Professional series of IP65 rated products, COLORado PXL bar accessories can be controlled via DMX, sACN, Art-Net and Kling-Net; and they also support RDM for remote access and troubleshooting.
