Christie launches new RGB laser and xenon cinema projectors

christie

Latin America. Christie announced new additions to its range of solutions aimed at the film sector. This is the launch of new pure laser and xenon RGB projectors.

With vivid chromaticism that will delight movie theater attendees and advanced features designed to meet the needs of the most demanding exhibitors, Christie's new CP2420-Xe, CP4420-Xe, CP4425-RGB and CP4435-RGB models offer reliable projection solutions at affordable prices.

"Christie, which already offered the widest range of cinema solutions, is proud to add four new projectors to its selection," says Allan Fernandes, Christie's film product manager. "The operation of our latest releases rests on the innovative CineLife+ cinema processing electronics, which are equipped with advanced features that simplify the installation and operation of our products, while optimizing the image for exhibition and post-production to levels never seen before. And if we add to that the technologies of Real lighting| Laser and Xenolite, we can say that cinemas today have the possibility of offering an immersive experience of superior quality".

The new CP4425-RGB and CP4435-RGB generate 26,000 DCI lumens and 35,000 DCI lumens respectively, projecting high-brightness content on screens up to 27 meters wide. Its Royal lighting| Laser conquers the public, who enjoy images of high chromatic quality, great level of detail and maximum realism. The new models provide an unsurpassed experience, very appropriate for large commercial rooms and premium format. With more than 50,000 hours of low-maintenance operation, the CP4425-RGB and CP4435-RGB guarantee a state-of-the-art cinematic solution and years-long stability at an economical cost.

Available xenon models
Christie's CP2420-Xe and CP4420-Xe projectors work with Xenolite lamps, which are more durable, reliable and cost-effective than other xenon lamp-based projectors on the market. The quality of the projected image is impeccable and at the height of what the public expects and wants.

Advanced features in reliable and affordable products
With a built-in CineLife+, the CP2420-Xe, CP4420-Xe, CP4425-RGB and CP4435-RGB projectors have features as advanced as ECC (electronic color convergence) to align color with maximum precision, or LiteLOC, a technology that makes the brightness level stand the test of time. CineLife+ supports a number of third-party IMB technologies, and its wide range of inputs, as well as ensuring compatibility with all existing content formats, anticipates future needs. To this we must add the possibility of using CineLife+ RemoteUI to control the projector safely through the web, in all the best known search engines, thus eliminating the need for a touch panel controller.

The new projectors are also compatible with Christie Mystique Cinema, a self-calibration solution that can be used with one or more projectors. Christie Mystique Cinema's autofocus and self-convergence functions make installation and maintenance tasks as easy as possible. Simply press a button to have the images unfold with the stability and alignment of the first day, without the additional support costs.
