Latin America. In conversation with AVI LATINOAMÉRICA, David Román, Sales Director of Shure Latin America, stressed that currently the trend in the industry is still a very high demand, even including the impact that there is at all levels due to the global problems that exist in terms of supply and logistics.
"Certainly, the reopening and the new post-pandemic reality have caused the market to move at an accelerated pace across all of Shure's business segments. Our region is again 100% open, and that has pushed much more the demand for solutions in all niches of the AV market," he said.
The segments with the most movement in these first months have been live events, due to their reactivation, and the incorporation of innovative technologies for the new realities of work and education. The retail sector also continues to remain strong, especially with products for home office, podcasts and content generation.
On projects, David Román mentioned that "In the area of education we can mention the project with the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, who relied on Shure's solutions for the configuration of their hybrid classrooms throughout the campus. Likewise, during this period Shure has also been present in multiple corporate projects in the region, in which the client seeks audio quality and robust solutions".
Finally, he stressed that the main novelty they will have at InfoComm Show is the launch of the Microflex Advance ceiling microphone model MXA920. This product has led the market in recent years and with this new generation they hope to exceed, even more, the expectations of customers. With automatic coverage for audio capture, easy and quick setup and an innovative architecture, the MXA920 is undoubtedly the best microphone solution on the market. Important advances in our IntelliMix Room (software DSP) solutions will also be present at ISE and Infocomm.
"Likewise, stem ecosystem solutions are the best alternative for value-added video conferencing because of their ease of combining, expanding and scaling the audio of meeting spaces in the way the client wants and without complex installations," he concluded.
