With an RGBAL engine that delivers richly textured colors and smooth, uniform whites (it has a CRI of 93), plus an integrated 25-50-degree zoom lens, Chauvet Professional's new Ovation E-2 FC offers the kind of performance associated with larger luminaires, but in a compact body that makes it ideal for small and medium applications.
The equipment has a weight of less than 7 kilos and measures 461 x 310 x 445 mm (18.1 x 12.2 x 17.5 inches), the compact but powerful lamp emits 1107 lux at 5 meters when used at its narrowest beam angle and 488 lux at 5 meters when used at its widest beam angle.
The Ovation E-2 FC features advanced optics, meaning that in addition to reproducing beautiful colors, it projects sharp gobos that add depth to any design. A convenient dedicated focus mode button allows one-touch focus without the help of a dash operator. A virtual color wheel and preset white CCT add to the conveniences offered by these versatile equipment, which can be controlled via DMX or RDM.
Other features of this ultra-quiet equipment include selectable PWM, +/- green and Red Shift adjustment, a built-in gobo slot, electronic dimming and USB ports for software updates. Thanks to these and other features, the Ovation E-2 FC brings wider design options to more places never before imagined.
