Mexico. Extreme Networks' Open Fabric data architecture for data centers and cloud computing will be integrated as part of solutions from INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY service provider EMC Vspex.
This alliance will benefit systems based on the delivery and support of network virtualization in cloud environments, low latency in the sending of data and high transfer speed.
EMC Vspex is designed to coordinate data flows for virtualization and cloud computing-focused technologies and solutions. Vspex allows its users to make better decisions about information flows, physical cloud storage, connection management and network element conditions. All of that reduces complexity and the risk of errors by IT teams.
"By knowing the storage requirements and how vital an enterprise network is, we will be able to know how soon the use of the cloud can be adopted. We support the EMC VSPEX solution with a robust and open network, enabling customers to have a fully integrated storage network to servers and virtual elements, all with SDN technology and high-performance switches," said Jake Howering, Director of Data Center Solutions at Extreme Networks.
With expectations of approximately 40% to 60% growth this year in integrated data center systems, cloud computing and virtualization, Extreme Networks enters new markets providing high performance and confidence in all types of Ethernet solutions.
