Mexico. Under the premise of providing the DJ with work tools that simplify from the connection and installation of equipment to the preparation and realization of mixes, Pioneer DJ Corporation announced the launch of two controllers designed exclusively to operate with the Rekordbox DJ software: the DDJ-RZ and the DDJ-RX.
These devices are characterized by providing maximum flexibility and comfort to prepare the themes with Rekordbox, obtain a plug-and-play performance and mix with Rekordbox DJ directly from a portable device. The panel of both controllers features a "mirrored" design of the software's graphical interface, to offer greater integration and faster response.
As an additional complement they have new Beat parameter buttons, Sampler Cue mode and Sequencer mode, which allows the DJ to record the samples and create loops with them at the moment.
DDJ-RZ and DDJ-RX, Main Features:
- Low-latency jog wheels with central display
- 4-channel mixer: Mixes are made with four decks of Rekordbox DJ.
- Multi-coloured pads: 16 large rubber pads instantly control functions such as Hot Cues, Slicer and the new Pad Fx.
- The performance pads have multicolored backlit LEDs to give a visual reference of the modes and Hot Cues, while the Velocity mode allows DJs to control the volume of the sample according to the amount of pressure that is applied.
- Pad FX: DJs can create multiple FX chains using the 16 pads.
- Sound Color FX: Four buttons on the DDJ-RZ have pre-set FX Space, Jet, Pitch and Filter, while the DDJ-RX button activates Noise, Crush, Pitch and Filter.
- New Sequencer: Rekordbox DJ controllers are the first to incorporate a sequencer, which allows you to record, play back and create loops on the fly.
- Release FX: DJs can get out of complex FX patterns by selecting vinyl brake, echo or back spin and turning the dial.
- Beat FX: select up to three Beat FX
- Quantized Beat Jump
- Slip Mode: Inherited from the CDJ-2000NXS, it keeps the theme silent during the playback of a loop, reverse or scratch and returns the music to the foreground at the desired point just after.
- Multiple inputs and outputs for flexible configurations that offer freedom to connect laptops, CDJs and trays or to use the controllers as standalone mixers.
