Powersoft launched amplification modules

Latin America. In addition to its industry-changing multi-channel controlled process and touring amplifiers, Powersoft has built an excellent reputation in the OEM market, providing motors for many market-leading active speaker systems with its line of power modules.

This has now been expanded with two new highly specific, compact and flexible modules: LiteMod 4HC and MiniMod 4 will be alongside the Quattrocanali installation series that was recently launched at the ISE trade fair in Amsterdam.

"These modules are a new benchmark when it comes to low idle power consumption, flexibility and cost effectiveness for many applications. Both platforms will provide all speaker designers with an incredibly flexible tool to create a complete line of products, including standalone amplifiers," said Luca Giorgi, director of business development and sales at Powersoft.

LiteMod 4HC
This extremely versatile amplification platform integrates a PFC-equipped power source for universal electric current operation, as well as four output stages, providing a maximum total of 2400 W, all in one compact solution.

The fact that it can be configured for four, three, two or one channel output, supporting 2Ω as well as 8Ω operation, gives it supreme flexibility.

Designed for use in all types of applications with high channel count, two- and three-way systems, subwoofers and satellite systems, pristine sound operation can only be covered by its ease of use.

MiniMod 4
Another compact and flexible 4 x 150 W amplification platform, MiniMod 4 is an integrated module offering switching mode power supply for universal electric current with PFC, and a total of 600 W of audio amplification.

MiniMod presents the same degree of flexibility since it can be configured as a power output of four, three, two or one channel. It is suitable for all types of applications with high channel count, two- and three-way designs, subwoofers and satellite systems, as well as for consumer audio and musical instruments.
