Latin America. NEC has launched four new UM Series ultra-short-throw LCD projectors in response to the growing need to improve collaboration spaces and greater interactivity in schools and the workplace.
The new UM301W, UM301X, UM351W and UM361X offer significant improvements in terms of performance and cost of ownership. They eliminate shadow and glare and deliver brighter, more dynamic images with up to 3,600 ANSI lumens of brightness. They have an integrated 20W speaker and two HDMI inputs, one of them that supports MHL, which allows users to connect smart devices to projectors being very useful when using multiple digital sources.
In addition, the new models include a table of projection capabilities, something that allows users to work on interactive tables. Self-calibration also facilitates the set-up of products, making it simpler and faster. All four models are available with the interactive Multi-Pen and the WXGA models feature touch support. The NP03Wi Multi-Pen Kit is optional and can be added retrospectively, turning the UM Series projector into an interactive whiteboard that works on any surface.
The UM series projectors also comply with NEC's Green Vision as the lamp life is longer, consumes less energy and requires little maintenance. These advantages result in a very low total cost of ownership.
